Strangeness on egg

One of my marans has layed an egg and it has some little bits on it. At first I thought it may be some type of lice eggs but they are hard and if you crush them they crunch and leave a whitish deposit. I'm thinking now it could be a calcium deposit but I'm not sure. Has any body seen anything like this? It's a first for me!

I get bumps sometimes, though never that dense. I think it's just a calcium deposit. I wouldn't be super worried, I'd just keep an eye on her.

My Andalusian does something like that; her eggs are white so it looks a little different. She also has some clumpy deposits on hers.

That's more like what I get, though they are sometimes like the little spheres if there's less.

I get eggs like that occasionally and some wrinkly ones from my older girls. This is just really weird as it looks like the egg has had the shell and colour then this is on the outer side. It came off when I scraped it with my finger nail.

I have seen a few posts about eggs with those weird deposits on them recently.

I believe that even though they look like bug eggs it was determined they are calcium deposits.
