One of my roosters is named Skillet

We do not plan on eating him......One of the girls is Daisy (Daisy Duck)....she's white and smooth and looked more like a duck than a chicken before her comb really grew in.....And another is Denise....She has a big poof on her head that reminds us of Denise from the Cosby Show

let's see, my son (he's 4) helped me name ours.... we have Yum-Yum a hen we do not plan to eat, Mama-San cuz' she nearly died trying to hatch golf balls, Grandma heaven knows why, and Popparooster - yes it's one word, we have 5 more pullets he hasn't quite named yet, as well as some cockerels he won't be allowed to name.

My sister had two ducks she named cheese and quackers.

Great thread btw!

We have 4; 2 Roos and 2 hens. The Roos are FRED and ZSU-ZSU (pronounced Zoo-Zoo). The others are LITTLE RED and LISA. Yes, "Lisa". My husband named that one . . . still trying to figure that one out.
Little Red reminds me of a hen from a childhood story named Henny-Penny.

Love them all and can't wait to get more.
