Hello Fellow BYCers!
My wellsummer has started crowing a sort of strangled sounding crow, but otherwise acts totally fine. Eats, drinks, lays eggs, mutters, is social and active. It took me a little while to determine that it was my hens (and not my neighbors) because I would hear the sound over the fence and come around back to check on them and they would act all innocent
A couple of things that would seem totally unrelated:
1. Her and my other hen (a red star) took a year off from laying - we thought they had gone through "the change"
2.Last year I had a problem with Marek's and lost three other birds (all vaccinated) - neither of the survivors had the vaccine (go figure).
I'm not even sure what to look for. I've looked at her externally and she seems fine. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance!
