Strawberry crowed this morning!

Hello-my family has been raising 2 Aricauna chicks for the past 3 months or so. We live in town, are allowed up to four hens. Well, one of the chickens crowed this morning

I haven't told my kids yet. I just don't even know what to do with the chickens. Probably re-home the pair. Does anyone have advice? I live in Springfield, Oregon if anyone is interested in them.

So sorry, how discouraging for you.

I would advertise by putting signs up everywhere - library bulletin board, farmer's co-op, maybe craigslist.
Also you can post them in the buy-sell-auction section of the forum. Good luck.
