Stray cat...?

My cat kills fully mature ones. He is an evil pric#, I love him and give him a can of soft food daily. Just he doesn't care how old a possum is. He will kill their babies, but it seems the adult versions are better sport. Anything that can fight back is the best prey unless it is a freaky hormone charged chicken as they scare him.

Also if something bites him....It will experience a horrid painfull death, but that is just my old cat. In regards to him being big he is only 14.5 pounds. I could dredge up old photos of his kills, but we all want to enjoy our breakfasts without seeing his rotting corpses in the yard.

Possums !! Baby's right? . I can't see a cat going after an adult possum?. I struggled killing one with a shovel. Their skin is made of leather . A cat the eats possums would be a beneficial animal to have around . WIll Save me a bunch of time. If it does kill adults it must be a big cat.:D
Trust me the right cat will kill possums baby or adults. I am worried I will lose him as he is getting old at 12+. I have no idea what we have paid in vet fees over the years on him but they were huge. I will keep looking for a replacement for this cat. How can anyone replace a found on Salado creek cat? Just he is priceless.

I guess possum must be smaller where I live. But yes the cat takes down possum his own size. Sorry we neutered him so he can't spread his genes. It is the middle of the night so he is probably off killing something. Just please trust me my jerk takes down all the mature possums if he can find them. I have found too many rotting corpses of them to rationize it away.

I trust you completely but wow that's amazing. Ya that's about how big our possums are "cat size". You don't have to be sorry ,I'm sure there's still some cats out there with the genetics. If I ever find one I will gladly take and release it in my barn. A as long as it doesn't eat my chickens.

Expose a random cat to a broody hen, it will become totally cured of chicken ours had the bad luck of meeting 3 broodies at once poor guy.

It was only a two rat night for our cat.. :hit Oh well night is almost back upon us, however our rats here are pretty epic weighing in at over a pound if I forgot to mention it before in this thread I call them "Valley Rats". Thankfully our little bugger kills them.

The broodies weigh in at 1/3rd of a cat, but punch way outside of their weight class according to our cat. To be honest I do not know why he is terrified of them, just we see him getting chased off often enough to know it is a thing.
