She showed up one day & a month or so later brought me 9 chicks. I am trying to find out what kind of chicken she is
I know nothing about chickens lol

Also, she is very pretty and healthy looking, especially for a stray chicken!
We think a truckload stopped at the market across the road from me & she escaped & came here.
I happy to hear she looks healthy because I’ve never cared for chickens before & worry about her & chicks.
Thank you for your response. I have been told game bird but I have no clue
She has some rust coloring up by her neck

I'm glad I could help. :) Yes, I think that is 100% a Black Sex-Link. Black Sex-Links are an autosexing cross breed that make excellent egg layers.

She also looks young, she might get more rust coloration as she gets older.

I was hoping to rehome them all. I believe 4 are roos. I don’t want to move them if they won’t be accepted by the new owners flock.

They won't be accepted easily, but they MIGHT be accepted. I also see that some of the chicks are indeed cockerels. If you think that the new owner has at least a calm-ish or laid back flock, they could be accepted. I recommend trying to rehome them, but if it doesn't work out, you may need to keep them, or try rehoming somewhere else.
