Also try bread, cheerios and lettuce. If a duck has never been given peas before he may not react to them-- best try treats he's more likely to know.

Ducks respond VERY well to herding, so if you can open a gate to your back yard, grab a helper or two and spread your arms out you should be able to walk him in.

I vote for bread my ducks love bread and will do just about anything to get some. Hope it works what ever you decide.
