Bristlekit sees Miststar. He bounds over to her. Sandkit stayed in the bush, tense. "Hi! Who are you? I'm Bristlekit!" he says, excitedly

"It's nice to make friends with surrounding cats. I don't want enemies" she purred.

"I'm Miststar" she purred, chuckling.

"My sister Sandkit is hiding 'cuz she's a-scared!" Bristlekit said. Sandkit came out of the bush. "I-I'm not scared." she said, nervously.

She chuckled. "Who's your parents?"

Spottedtail's ears twitched in the direction of the voices. She padded over, and stood next to Miststar.

"Um... We got lost from our parents... " Bristlekit said, and for the first time he wasn't excited and happy. Sandkit put her head down.
