stressed hen in quarantine!!

i’ve had to put a hen in quarantine because I think she has vent gleet but she is pacing around the cage and crying! is there anything I can do to help her calm down?

Did you check to make sure her food and water is full?
The next thing to do is to place a towel or blanket over the cage she is in, this will calm her down.

There really is not a need to quarantine a hen with possible vent gleet. What are her symptoms? Pictures of her vent can be helpful tomorrow. I prefer to keep my chickens in the coop with others. If one needs to be separated, she is placed in a wire dog crate or pen with food and water, and able to remain part of the flock.
