She has a place behind the coop that the littles go but the other big ones don't so she is safe there and the littles keep her company. The lowest of the big girls keeps her company when she sits on the roosts during the day. My coop is open so not like she is staying inside.Is there anyway you could make a pen within the pen so they can see each other yet be safe. Just putting her straight away in with the others Makes her a target. I separate mine at least 10 days minimum.
I let the big ones out into the garden Twice a day and give her an hour to move around in the run with the littles. The let the others back in 1 at a time.
