Stretching neck?

Do you see any sneezing, watery or foamy eyes, or swelling of any eye? Diseases can be viral, fungal from mold, or bacterial/mycoplasmas. Antibiotics will not treat viruses or fungus. I would make sure the chick is drinking plenty of fluids, and check the crop to make sure that it is emptying overnight. If you feel like the chick is getting worse, your feed store may sell Tylan 50, an antibiotic that treats mycoplasma (MG.) You will need 3 ml syringes with 20 gauge needles to withdrawl the medicine. Remove the needle and give it orally, a drop at a time, letting her swallow. Dosage is 1/4 ml per pound 2-3 times a day. Here is a handy link for common respiratory diseases:

He’s completely clear in the face, no discharge anywhere, no bubbling or foul odors of any kind. I don’t see any changes in his comb to indicate swelling or inflimation. I added more grit and I let them munch on some olive oil covered bread (I read if he was having some issues moving food down this could help). He is eating and drinking like normal too. He greeted me this morning when I brought in fresh food and water and I stayed to make sure he ate and took in fluids, which he did. I will go back out tonight and check him back over, if he is still doing weird things tomorrow and then go from there? I will include a photo of him just to make sure I’m not missing anything! Thanks so much for the advice!

If he does it again, get a video of his actions. Upload it to youtube, vimeo or a similar platform then provide us a link.

Do they have access to food free choice during waking hours or are you taking food out at certain times?

I do have a video! Let me see if I can figure out how to upload.

They have free access to food and water day and night, I just happened to notice yesterday when I brought them some treats and again today when I refilled their food and brought them fresh water.

Um... that’s not just something stuck in its crop or adjusting the crop. That looks like a sick little chicken. Gasping for air. You should quarantine him if you are going to treat him how many chickens do you have?
