String stuck on tongue

I have a chick with a string stuck on her tongue. I clipped the string shorter but I can't keep her mouth open long enough to untangle or take a pic. Any suggestions?

you are going to need many hands....

1 set to hold chick
2nd set to open chicks mouth
3rd set to take something.. the ends of wooden shishkabob skewers is the only thing coming to mind... use them to try and untie the string.. tweezers may work too

I got it loose with lots of help and tweezers, the string slipped and she swallowed it. I hope it all comes out right in the end.

if she swallowed it i think you will be ok as long as its only a few cm`s long
