Striped eggs

I have two new cross breed pullets (Australorp x Araucana). They have just started laying and one of them is producing striped eggs (probably due to the stress of being relocated). I definitely got an early Easter surprise. I have called our chook pen the "Playpen" because it is built around a vintage children's swing :jumpy

I agree, cool looking eggs!

See the following article about the many anomalies seen in eggs and there possible causes, lots of information and a cool video.. noting relocation stress and also new layer hiccups are most likely what's at play here, according to your description. No reason to jump to any disease or nutritional causes without supporting symptoms..
