I'm looking at Toulouse, Pomeranian, and possibly a American buff gander. I don't want aggressive geese, so I'm picking more mild and quiet breeds. I bought 3 American buff females this past spring and have become smitten with them. I used to be afraid of geese. I probably am still afraid of the Chinese and African varieties. Those are the kind I was chased by as a kid.

The only thing I don’t like about Strombergs is that you have to buy in increments of 5. I can’t get just 1 Buff Orpington I need to buy 5 even if I just want 1.

I read that about the chickens. I don't care for that either. I don't see anything about geese breed requirements, so I guess I will be making a phone call to ask directly. I checked the website and it's outdated.

good point. That's how I ended up with 30! 5 of each breed!

I think you can buy them individually but it costs more?
