They are expensive. I ordered some chicks two years ago. The lady that took my order was not rude, but she was not what I would call friendly either. What I didn't care for was not getting a reply to an e-mail that I sent regarding a problem with two of the birds. I have to take some blame, because I didn't call them later on the phone.

I find their catalog interesting but hard to figure out at times. Their prices for so-called "exhibition" birds are stunning --- $8 per chick.

However, prices on regular breeds (RIR, for example) and on assortments seem in line with other places, and some are better when you consider that they include shipping in the price.

I'm glad you had a good experience.

BTW, Years ago (mid-1980s) they used to sell all sorts of exotic animals, even monkeys, ocelots, parrots, etc. but now they only sell poultry, doves, etc.
