Struggling chick: Feet & Navel issues

I have a chick that just hatched last night who's feet look wierd. I've been reading up on curled toes - but it seems that is when they curl under like a clenched fist. This ones toes on one foot seem to curve in under her tummy. S/he is walking around but most of the time its more like an army crawl. S/he also still has a "goober" attached to her navel.

The one thing she does have going for her is spunk!

I'm trying to get a picture downloaded - but can't seem to get the forum to accept it.

I would go ahead and brace them in the right position. It won't hurt anything just to be safe.

For her belly, I'd dab it with some iodine or alcohol to disinfect and just watch it.
