Struggling with Coop Build

Hello everyone,

I really need to build a new coop and ideally I would like to build a 6x6 walk in. However, I am really struggling to find coop plans for these dimensions. Is a 6x8 that much easier to build? 6x8 is just a bit tight for the space that I have. I live north of Denver, so it does get pretty hot in the summers, and the winters typically have a few weeks of zero or negative degree weather at night. I have 8 hens currently and i already have an outdoor run and free range space for them, so it's really just the coop i need help with. I appreciate any and all help/suggestions. A 6x8, or even better, 8x8, are more efficient when it comes to procuring building materials. Plywood, OSB, T1-11 and framing lumber all come in 4 ft increments.
The extra space is also advantageous when placing the roosts as the birds need landing space to get off of the roosts without crashing into a wall or support system.

Always build bigger, if you possibly can! Always. And as DobieLover wrote, building in multiples of 8 is so much simpler, and often with less waste.

If you really can't fit it in, you can maybe reduce a 6x8 plan by one unit of its framing distances on the 8 foot walls. Some are framed 16" on center (1/3 of 4 ft), many others are framed 24" on center. Depending on roof orientation, etc., this could create multiple nightmares, so you would want to think it through.
