Stubborn eggs won't turn?

Yes, Keith already change the angle to 15. This one egg is just a problem egg.

Added one more egg last night. Honestly Linda, how many staggers do you want me to have?!?

One, my coffee has not kicked in yet.
Two, I gave blood yesterday so I am just a tad "peaked" or "puny" today.

With that said, and an apology to lead in, "Sorry if I come off snippy..." but fer goodness sake, one of the easiest, most fool-proof 'bators for beginners, and you still manage to complicate things?

I'll return to this thread later when I am closer to being human.

oh, geez, that was harsh. I will be back in about an hour.

ETA: It's the egg not the bator that's the problem. Could be the operator too.

My suggestion is to put that 'bator in another room and don't watch it so closely.

Maybe I had the same problem and just never noticed it to the same degree as have you???

Actually, I have recommended to Brinsea to cover the base surface under the turning plate with a rubberized thing, so it "grips" the eggs better. I also suggest the plate be raised just a very small amount, so the eggs are slightly held up, oe suspended a little bit, and they roll better, pushed along by that grippy type surface.

Doesn't help you now, though, does it!?

Now what do you suggest I do about the broody situation.

No comments to Gritsar on the bator cause I don't have the experience.

Linda, would a rubberized-type shelf-liner help, one with adhesive on the bottom? Just a thought. Maybe it would not have to be applied all over the bottom, just a strip to turn the eggs when it passes by. Or would a strip cause an egg jam? I'm really not familiar with that incubator. Maybe Keith could apply it so it is done right?

Now about the broody. My suggestion is to put that broody in another room and don't watch it so closely. I'm almost afraid to ask "What broody situation?" What is it now?

Linda, isn't this one reason we like her so much?

Don't think adhesive would be necessary, but the liner stuff would have to be the really thin stuff, not that nice, thick, white stuff I even use as a jar opener, it grips so well. A circular strip might do it. A strip WOULD need adhesive, but a piece cut to the size of the bottom surface under the turning plate probably would not.

And as for the second issue, yes indeed!
