Just finished day 8 candling of 36 barred rock eggs and found 1 egg stuck to the turner cup/rack, stuck tight enough where we are worried it might break if we pull to much. I tried dribbleing a little water on the stuck egg to loosten but it is still stuck! I dont know why it is stuck 1 other egg was also tough to get out of turner to candle. Any advice I really dont want to have to break down my bator to clean a broke egg. Just to let you know out of 36 eggs set we still have 26 still in bator! Maybe we will wait till we have to take turner out on day 18 then deal with that stuck egg then. Humidty is and has been 50% will increase to 65%on day 18 till hatch our temps been right on 99.5 to 100

Is it stuck because it has a crack ? or was there some yolk on the turner already.. ? If it is cracken, you might as well get it out of there.. It probably will go bad and stink anyhow..

I don't know of any solution other than water to loosen it..

maybe somebody else can help you there..

The one egg that was stuck and we got out might have been from the first 2 days in the bator we had humidty of 68%to 73% maybe it caused eggs to sweat a little bit and glue to the turner cup. It seemed like it was a water and outside egg wash off on bottom of egg in a little ring. This happen to any of you guys ? No cracks found in the 1 egg we got out. Do not see any in the stuck egg.

I had a stuck egg in my turner before as well. I just waited until I took the turner out to get it out. Ran it under water, and it loosened.

Yes thats about best plan we can come up with to, gonna have to wait............

If it is developing you could let it hatch that way. I did this with some quail eggs and it worked fine.
