I am in California, and no I do not live at the beach, no there are not stores on every corner, no the sun does not shine every day, yes the people in LA are crazy, and no we do not think everyone else is strange. Except New Yorker's.

I'm not 'stuck' in a stereotype. Sure, I have them, just like everyone does. People immediately judge us (intentionally or not) when they first see us. It's natural. That most common judgment makes up my stereotype. I can be intimidating. Raised by a CEO character, I'm not afraid to look anyone in the eye. I have a major Texan accent (or wherever I've been recently) that casts upon me the hick look. My flannel also assists there. But I'm also fun-loving and sincere, so that comes through. Those are the major judgments I hear from people, although there could quite possibly be others that they chose not to let me in on. I don't care if there are or not. I'm me and I'm fine with that.
