One of my chickens has a really hard poop that is stuck on her skin near her butt. I have tried using a warm wash cloth to get it off but it doesn't work. Are there any other things I could do? Does using baby oil or olive oil work? Thanks!

Is this a baby chick? You can try oil, or more water, even immerse the butt in warm water.

I have a 8 month old pullet who has a small ball of poop that is stuck like cement on her skin near her bottom. I have heard of peroxide being used for pasty butt in chickens and was wondering If using peroxide would help?

When my cochin gets poopy, I soak the area and work off the poop with a (gloved) hand. I also trim her bum feathers to keep them from getting bad. If it does get really bad, she gets a bath.

Since it's on her skin, I'd soak her until it softened and try to get it off. I read somewhere that H2O2 can damage skin. But I could be mistaken. I'm sure others who are more experienced will opine soon.

Clip poop holding feathers off ~1/2" from skin.
I would not use peroxide.
Nor do I give them a bath, unless poop is wet and copious.
