Stuff lingering in hens eye 5 days after debridement. Was a big marble of cheesy white gunk about 1/2" around at front side eye.

Unknown age presumed Ameracauna. Large blue egg. Nearly daily layer until 2 weeks ago. Bump on forehead in front of eye got larger and larger. Then she became lethargic. I knew if I didn't do something then she would likely die. A friend helped me hold her and we found the white gunk and started removing with tweezers and irrigating with saline. Eye was not visible for a long time. Cleared a massive amount of cheesy white stuff until all we could see was a filmy substance on eyeball. She was panting and exhausted as were we after all that. But she lived.
Applied terramycin ointment. Gave 0.5 ml Tylan 50 injectable in breast every night. Cleaned around eye and in eye with Microcyn AH ophthalmic gel twice a day and applied Terramycin ointment in eye afterwards.
Redness and swelling has gone down. Stretched out tissue had shrunk. She is starting to hold the eye open again, but it is a little cloudy looking and has a white thing sticking out. It is firmly attached to eyeball. Should I do anything about it? How long to keep giving Tylan 50 injection?

I'm pretty sure Tylan 50 is a 5 day treatment. Keep trying to flush the eye out with saline and the ointment to keep the flap soft. Beyond that I don't know... it is possible she might go blind in the eye.
There was a similar post some time ago and @Eggcessive had some suggestions they might be able to help this time?

I have never seen white material stick out of the eyeball before. I would keep irrigating the eye or use a warm wet compress held on the eye for a few minutes to try and soften that. The apply some ointment, and later try to move it. Does it keep her eyelid from closing? Tylan dosage is 0.25 ml per pound of weight given 3 times a day for up to 5 days, which treats mycoplasma (MG.) My fear is the eye may be permanently blinded, but I hope not.

Her eyelid closes. The eyeball looks a little cloudy so she may have lost vision already. Although she might have a little sight in that eye. If she survives this I consider that a win. Having even partial sight in that eye would be a huge bonus. If I have given the dosage of Tylan 50 incorrectly, do I need to increase the dosing to 3x for another 5 days? Tonite would be her last shot. She is very lightweight right now, so it really freaks us out to give her a shot.
She's eating, and drinking but not a lot. She is pooping regularly. I tossed in a handful of cat food over her scratch and she gobbled it all down. Maybe I should give her more?
It might be that she is in a small crate in my kitchen without her other girls. Plus our house has been noisy. We've been having our roof replaced for the past 3 days and the dogs have been barking. Ugh!

Tylan can be given orally, 1/2 ml orally at a time, letting them swallow each time. Then repeat.

Most chickens do not have enough breast tissue to tolerate injections, and Tylan can actually cause tissue damage in the muscle. I would try some moistened chicken feed, and she can also have a little cooked egg, and canned cat food. But mostly stick with the chicken feed since it is best for her. You might try feeding her from a cat food or tuna can, or similar sized container held up to the beak 2-3 times a day. Make the food watery, and vitamins may be added.

I will try the oral application of Tylan 50. Do I need to increase dose to 3 x daily? Maybe for a few more days? Tonites dose is day 5. But I've only be doing once a day.

I would start all over with it, at least for 3 full days, and give it orally to get the full dosage. It is usually given for 3 to 5 days. They will sometimes take it in a bit of scrambled egg, but make sure she will eat that.
