So they all are sneezing now we are treating with amoxicillin, but because in CA you can't get antibiotics over the counter for your animals we are treating with Fishmox, they are 250mg capsules. it's 1 capsule per 10 gallons, but obviously that is the measure for fish, how many capsules should I put in their 1 gallon water container?
How
often are they sneezing? Any other symptoms besides the sneezing?
Anyone lethargic, have mucous, coughing, swollen faces, runny eyes?
It depends on what you are dealing with the Amoxicillin *
might* be effective for respiratory illness, but it's usually given to birds that have infection from things Bumblefoot, some reproductive disorders, e.coli and wounds.
A viral respiratory disease like Infectious Bronchitis will have to run it's course, antibiotics will not treat that unless there are complications of secondary infection. Mycoplasma and Infectious Coryza are bacterial, so do respond fairly well to antibiotic treatment. Getting some testing is the best way to find out what you have. In CA you can utilize services from UC Davis to have testing - give them a call to find out how to submit samples for testing.

Amoxicillin dosage is by
weight of each bird at 125mg/kg given 2 times a day for up to 7 days.
If all are sneezing and you feel they need treatment, ask your vet for powdered Tylan which can be administered in the water or they may have one of the "cyclines" that you can use.
IF sneezing is the only symptom, then make sure they are eating/drinking well. Offer them some poultry vitamins to give them a boost. See that their housing is free of mold/mildew, excess droppings and that they have plenty of ventilation.
