Nope, they aren't pointy. Slightly narrow, it's not completely uncommon for juvenile pullets.

It's a pullet. The feathers are a bit frayed, so maybe that's why people see male specific feathering.

Sorry they are almost ten weeks now. This is another one I got with it that is definitely a roo.
