hi all!

I bought some chicks a while back and they have stopped growing! The bantams (6 of the eight are bantams I think) are all 10-12 weeks old, but are the size of a small pigeon. Just tiny tiny little things. Small enough to fit through chainlink fence without trouble. I know bantams are small, but they seem way too small.

The other two are about 3 months old. One is a regular sized polish, and the other is a regular sized chicken that I think is an easter egger. However, they are only about the size of an average bantam.

They were on chick starter that had electrolytes in it up until 2 weeks ago when I ran out. I have since switched to regular laying feed. The place I bought the chicks from told me to switch when I ran out. The chicks have been outside for over a month now and have plenty of access fo food and water.

Should I be concerned about their small size? Do you think they might spurt up?

Is there anything I can do to make them grow??

here are some pictures for reference.

It looks like you have a mille fleur d'uccle (the speckled one) and some old english game bantams, and they are supposed to be tiny. I have 1 of each, and the OEG is 1/2 the size of my d'uccle, who is 1/3 the size of my polish. I would get some chick grower crumbles again for them until they start laying, which could be another couple of months. The polish are usually small, but look huge next to an OEGB. Cute birds. Here is a good link to look at the various bantams including OEG's: http://www.cacklehatchery.com/bantam.html
