hi all!
I bought some chicks a while back and they have stopped growing! The bantams (6 of the eight are bantams I think) are all 10-12 weeks old, but are the size of a small pigeon. Just tiny tiny little things. Small enough to fit through chainlink fence without trouble. I know bantams are small, but they seem way too small.
The other two are about 3 months old. One is a regular sized polish, and the other is a regular sized chicken that I think is an easter egger. However, they are only about the size of an average bantam.
They were on chick starter that had electrolytes in it up until 2 weeks ago when I ran out. I have since switched to regular laying feed. The place I bought the chicks from told me to switch when I ran out. The chicks have been outside for over a month now and have plenty of access fo food and water.
Should I be concerned about their small size? Do you think they might spurt up?
Is there anything I can do to make them grow??
here are some pictures for reference.
