Stupendous Seven: Big Day Out!

Took the babies for their first outing around the side yard today and thought I'd share a video and a few pics. They did wonderful and I think they enjoyed it.

Here are a few pics. Hubby had just made the hose "rain" on them before this one. They loooved it. Checkin' out the garden...



I had no idea I had a runner in the group!!

The only thing this pic is missing, is the slow-mo video with Queen's "We Will Rock You.." playing in the foreground. Fearless little buggers for their first outing, lol!!



And this one I saved as a video still, so sorry it's sideways.. But this is their sweet little Mama.. SCARFING down a quick meal before returning to her nest! I was shooting video in hopes that my SLW would mess with her again. He tried "sharing" her food with her last night and the next thing I knew she had a beak full of his hiney and took him TWICE around the food pile with him squealing like a little girl the whole time. He kept his distance tonight!!

Strutting their stuff were they...lol A time you will, no doubt, never forget. Kinda kewl watching those tiny little legs waddle across the lawn, your head swelling just a tad, ego gets an uplift... No better feeling that that on a given day !!
Looking forward to the pics. Vid don't like me tho? Congrats and enjoy them.... Steve
