stupid accidental chick death - I feel TERRIBLE :(

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. That's just terrible! But yea it doesn't sound like there was much you could do... it sound like you've got them in a big pen for baby chicks and she would have had to pick up a LOT of speed to do what she did...it sounds like there might have been something wrong with it

. One of my chicks just died of mysterious reasons but I keep wondering if I should have seen it coming somehow but I guess it just happens sometimes

Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad, though, that you were able to hold her when she passed; poor thing. I'm sure she went quickly. That's an unfortuante accident, but we can't protect them from everyting, so try not to feel so badly!!
