OK me and my dad were driving and these deer ran across the road and we were like "oh deer" and then this deer just jumps out onto the road and SMACKS into our car totally ruins my dads back bumper and everything THEN gets up and runs away!!!!! lol it was weird!!!

I don't know about the deer where you live, but here in WV, the deer have a game they LOVE to play called "car tag". The object of the game is to see how many cars they can hit.

Glad y'all are ok though. Sorry about the bumper.

I know theres no comparison, but they seem to like to play the same games with cars as deer. Didn't their moms teach them not to play in the road?

lol it was just weird cuz the deer litterally hit or car not the other way around I mean how else could it hit the back bumper!!!

I got one a couple years ago and had mu buddy's son with me. Well anyway...we were okay did like $3,500 worth of damage. My buddy was like how could you hit a deer! They are big and easy to see and...just didn't understand it. He now understands...$6,000 worth of damage. Although i must admit...it was a big buck...13 pts couple hundred pounds...

i got hit by a deer a few month ago, no fun! he ran right into my door.

One of my neighbors (who was the chief of the volunteer fire dep't at the time) had a deer jump THROUGH THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW, into the cab of his brand new p/u truck

! The antlers missed his face by inches! Needless to say, the deer died and the truck was seiously damaged

Yup. When I was younger I had a deer hit ME! I was on a back road, going to work, and 3 deer ran across the road and the 4th ran out and hit the driver's side fender of my car and literally rolled down the side of my car. Luckily she just busted my mirror. But she was hurting. I stopped and I could hear her in the woods crying. It was aweful. And when I sold that car a couple years later, there was still deer hair stuck in the rubber on the back seat window.
