I can't get the humidity up in my forced air LG incubator!!! I have one pipped guinea egg and the humidity is 57% even with rolled up paper towels and every water well FULL!!. What do I do? the eggs will be 28 days on May 29th. This egg has a small amount of shell cracked but I don't see anything else. I am afraid something is wrong.

Try sraying some warm water on them.
The little chick might have gotten shrink wrapped in his egg membarne, has it been more than 24 hours since he pipped, is the membane dry? If in the morning there is still no peeping and you feel like you can help him and you should, i say try it and if when you start zipping the egg you see some blood, wrap the egg in a paper towel and put it back in the incubator and try again in a few hours. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/9316/intervention-helping-your-chicks-hatch Good luck!

I have an LG bator and you can get the humidity up if you saran wrap the seam around top & bottom halves. I also wrap a winter scarf around over the sran to keep the heat in. Might not help this time, but try it for your next hatch.
