So I brooded 4 chicks for my neighbor along with my 6. We had 3 GLW, 3 SLW and 4 Ameracaunas. I put mine in their coop a week and a half ago and still had his since he wanted to redo his coop/run setup. He "finished" a temp set up Sun and I brought his to him. I noticed some major problems where I thought predators could get in and told him he needed to address them. He half-assed it and the 2nd night thought a pred got two. As it turns out he only lost one and one managed to escape the run/pred, and he found her. He now thinks he has it solved (we shall see). But I am so angry about his stupidity, he's HAD chickens before, u would think he would know better!!! I know he paid to buy them, but I put in a month and a half of care (and feed, but that's another story) and I feel for them too. Thank you, just had to vent.
