Stupid Newbie Question

Update: The last 2 nights the new rooster and hen have taken to roosting on the under construction roost that can be seen in the pics I posted. The Little’s are all snuggled together where they have always been, totally comfortable and at ease. Nobody’s been injured and it seems a pecking order has been established. Soon the dog crate is coming out, it seems to be becoming unnecessary - we’ll see what the rest of the week brings. Thanks for the input and advice!

Last update for this thread. Mostly, just for my reference! Yesterday I removed the panels to the panic room. So that was November 12th. That makes 4 weeks of integration, although the GLW's haven't yet been fully "integrated" into the flock of the older cockerel and pullet yet. But they are all sorted out in pecking order it seems, at least until the Wyandottes come into laying maturity....

@aart Ok another update! So far all is well. Below is a pic of some of the GLWs this past weekend. Everyone is co-existing peacefully and a pecking order is established. The GLWs are continuing to stay separate from Bob and Ethel.

The EEs roost, and the GLWs nest on the floor at this point.

The GLWs haven’t been taken under Bob’s wing, they haven’t matured enough yet..
