Stupid newbie ? what does DH mean?

OMG after months, I finally ordered 3 astralopes and 3 RIR from my pet chicken due June 15. I have blue prints for a coop which my partner is going to build. OK, so the H in DH is husband, what does the D stand for? I see the same thing on the goat group I am on. I am so out of the loop........

Depends on who ya ask......usually means "dear" but some say "dumb" or "do-nothing" or "delinquent" or.....well, you get the idea!

But, usually, it means dear husband!

ETA(edited to add): I had to ask the same question when I came here, so not to worry!

Yeah, so DS is "dear sister" etc. MIL or FIL is "Mother in Law" etc.

My husband is a paramedic and every time I see ETA on here I think it means Estimated Time of Arrival!
