Stupid Question... Does Chocolate sex link work in cross breeds?

Hey All!

I let all my birds out of breeding pens and put my incubator away to focus on my Muscovys who are broody.


Well I got a surprise checking on one of my ducks when a little chocolate muffed and bearded chick peeked out!!!!


I took baby so momma can focus on incubating her clutch. It’s pretty obvious that her momma is a Ameraucana ( stupid auto correct keeps fixing spelling so i’m leaving it) and daddy is our Chocolate Orp roo.

so my question is does the sex link gene work in cross breeds? could it be this little cutie is a pullet?!

It works the same on cross breeds and yes it has to be a pullet as long as there's no chance of dad and mom being chocolate.
