Can you put a regular rooster in with American game fowl hens, or do you need a game fowl rooster to go with those birds? I don't want roosters that are going to go after each other, but I am soon to have 3 flocks in close proximity. Can't find much online about this, hoping one of yall can help

You could put a "regular" rooster with AGF hens, but there would be a size difference - I wouldn't put something like a Large Fowl Orpington with them.
What kind of regular rooster do you have in mind?

AGF hens may not accept him - are all your hens currently together?
IF, IF you do breed them and have cockerels, remember that they would be 1/2 game - this could definitely cause some problems as they mature - so having a plan for cockerels is needed - either separate pens or processing them.

Disclosure here. I do have an AGF rooster that lives with my laying hens. Since he's smaller than them, there's been no problem with him hurting them as far as weight concerns.

You plan on having 3 flocks - what are your goals? Photos of your set-up?
Photos of hens too please.:)

I got a young Easter Egger rooster (about 4 months old id guess, about to find his voice) and he isn't much larger than the game fowl at the moment. The EE rooster was already mating with the hens this afternoon. He isn't a super aggressive rooster and seems to fit with those hens pretty well.

The 3 flocks got downsized to 2. I got my Wheaton Marans rehomed to my parents house, as they needed some egg layers.

I am going to keep my 2 flocks separate in 2 separate coops with attached runs. One flock is 3 1-year old AGF hens, with 2 4-month old AGF pullets getting introduced and the EE rooster I adopted.

The other flock is 2 EE pullets, a Leghorn pullet, a Leghorn Roo, and a Rhode Island Red pullet. There are also 2 18-month old Golden comets in that flock. The pullets and roo are all about 2 months right now.

I just want to keep my AGF separate from the larger, more docile birds. Hopefully I can get my AGF to be strictly free range soon as well.

I will get some pics tomorrow. Here's some pics of the EE I picked up.
