Hi! We need some ideas of how to make this less of an eyesore. I was thinking putting planters around the base with some plants that are useful and safe for ducks, maybe with vines to go up the outside corners. I need some suggestions for plants and vines that are safe. Any other ideas to make it look nicer? I don’t want to give the neighbors any reason to complain. Thank you!

Clipping off the tails of the zipties would be a good start.
Get the corners and edges of the apron pinned down so your mower doesn't nail them.
Keep in mind that vines can destroy the fencing.

Any plans to add shade and/or rain blocking to the run roof?

As for plants, it would help to know.....
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

Thanks! We are in New Jersey in the US. Yes my husband hasn’t finished yet - he is going to cut the zip ties and add the sun shade.
