Styrofoam Increases Egg Production?

It makes me sad thinking about it! And all so they can boast "no animal proteins! " makes me sick!
I'm this close to getting a dubia colony going again so I can make my own feed without having to use soy!

I used to live in Key West where the chickens run freely all over town (we called them "gypsy chickens"). Whenever the gift shop I worked at got new merchandise in, we had to unpack a lot of things that came packaged in Styrofoam. Chickens from everywhere would come running to chase down the little bits that flew around, they loved the stuff!

I don't know what impact, if any, it made on their egg production but I can attest to the fact that chickens will go nuts over Styrofoam and eat it whenever they get the chance.
