One of them sleeps there and the other two right next to her. I pick the poop out every day. Only one is laying eggs and she lays 1 every other day at 2pm like clockwork. She is the one that sleeps in the back room.

I put similar roosts in mine(not as high) but they seem to prefer to sleep on the straw on the bottom. A friend of mine told me they need roosts when I first got them. I built 6 roosts of different styles and heights but they don't use them. They are busy all day working my yard and at dusk they go back in the coop and sleep close together.
