We are having our coop build and are getting it at the end of the month, we live in a subdivision and our yard is fully irrigated. Im worried about having the sprinklers drenching the coop every other day or so in the summer and don't really want to have to pay to redo the irrigation in the yard. Any ideas on how to manage around the lawn sprinklers? Im not even sure how they will hit it until I know where the thing is going ..hmmm..

Can you change the sprinker heads that are near where the coop is going to be so that they don't spray the coop? You can get sprinkler heads that only spray 180 degrees or 90 degrees. I think they even have ones that you can ajust the angle of the spray.

I have an in-ground sprinkler system. There is a way to adjust the spray pattern of the sprinkler head. Place your coop, figure out which need to be adjusted and by how much. Use a sprinkler tool-you can get them at any home improvement store--adjust as needed. If you are not handy with stuff like this you can probably get someone that does landscaping to adjust them for you for a small fee. That is what I did. Cost me $20 for them to come out and adjust a bunch of the sprinkler heads for me. They even showed me how to do it myself. I'm just not very good at it.
