Subscribing to topic not notifying me?

I subscribed to a topic last night and even though there have been two or three replies to it since then, I haven't gotten any emails about it. This is only about the second time I've ever subscribed to a topic, so maybe I'm just not familiar with how it works? Does it sort of work like the PM notification, as long as you remain active in looking at the thread (like the FAQ on subscribing said)? Or not quite?

You should have gotten at least one email. Perhaps there is a typo in your email address??? Easy to check, click "profile" on the top of the page. If your email address is OK and you check (open) the thread again and still don't get an email, post back here and I'll do something....
