Substitutes for seedling heat mats

that's what im afraid of. we keep our thermostat at 64 during the winter, so the colder rooms hover around 60 most of the winter. and we don't get a ton of winter sun, so i don't have a warm sunny window to utilize.

we spent the last 2 winters with a barely functioning furnace, and got by with fireplaces during the day and hot water bottles at night. so 64 feels luxurious after the last 2 years!
