Today 6 peepies hatched, right now 3 are hatching, and tomorrow 12 more are expected to hatch that were put int he bator a day late. I want anyones advice on a few things.
a. My science teacher(and co-incubating partner) put the eggs in a bin with three lights and sawdust on a table. The chicks didn't hatch in the bator, but in the padded bin exposed to air. is this bad? Cause they're strong and kicking, so it doesn't seem to be afecting them.
b. Another science teacher went behind my back, after(on day18) I candeld them one last time and put them back in the bator without the egg turner, since everyone says stop turing on day 18. So, he goes behind my back, puts the eggs back in the egg turner and flips them until maybe even day 20. Now my science teacher is telling me that some of them died because I took out the turner. Does this make any sense?
Anyone who has the time to read this.. Thank you
