This was my first go at any livestock and all in all I am happy with the result. This is mostly due to the information that I found on this site.

I started with 20 Cornish Rocks and ended with 17 (lost 3) birds between 4.5 & 5.5 Lbs at 8 weeks.

One thing I wanted to share is I made a drill mounted plucker from a link I found using a 4" PVC cap and a cut up rubber bungy cord. It did not work well for me. What did work great is I had picked up a dog grooming glove from a clearance table at TSC when I was buying some feed. The little rubber nipples on it caught my eye. I scalded the bird and rough plucked by hand then layed them down and rubbed with the feathers and they were done. By the end I could do one in about a 1 1/2 min.

Thank you

Congrats on your success and thanks for that tip! I'm going to have to go look for one of those.
