Well temp. here in Morriston, Florida reached 99 degrees today. I felt so bad for the chicks (7 wks old). I put a tray of water in with them. My favorite hen BUBBA (Easter Egger) was the first to go wading, followed by Red ( RIR ).
I then decided to dock together the two tractors, the day tractor and the big tractor. I built them with this in mind but have never tried it before. Since they were built at different times there was never a trial fit.
The only problem was the door on the day tractor, it was supposed to swing in, but when I made it ,I forgot ,and swung it out. match up was no problem just removed the door.
Here are some pictures of them together....the hens seem to like it, they keep going back and forth.

And pretty soon you'll be building another coop on top of that second chicken tractor and getting more chickens, and building another tractor... [IMG] It's simple chicken math my friend!
