Anyone have any tips on how to successfully incubate Mallard duck eggs.

*How long before hatch do you stop turning
*How long should you leave in incubator after hatch
*How long after external pep do you wait to assist

Stop turning on the 24-25th day. Dont count the day you set them, the day after you set them is day 1. I like to lockdown on day 24 personally.
I remove the ducklings as they're dry. Don't leave them in any longer than 24 hours, they start to get really restless and they poop all over the incubator and eggs. They don't start eating and drinking until the day after they hatch.
I wait at least 38 hours after external pip. If I don't see any progress I open uo around the pip hole a bit and look for yawning/chewing motions from the beak. That means there's still yolk being absorbed. Ducklings can take up to 72 hours to hatch though, they're very slow.
