I'm still in shock over this, but today my daughter's pony, Magic, just laid down and died. Not a mark on her, no signs of distress. A fat, shiny, 6-year-old Shetland pony who I always considered indestructible.

We are distraught.

Ive always wanted a horse but after my dad got bucked off a 14 hand pony that we were looking at, that was over. Though it was funny.

Necropsy! Necropsy! Necropsy!

They are fairly cheap and quick. We had our 3 y/o stud necropsied to find out why he died on us. We already knew, just wanted a confirmation.
