Many yeard ago I made this fudge like candy and I'm pretty sure I used evap milk. I no longer have the recipe I used. I find a few on google search, but they all pretty much call for heavy cream. Do any cooks out there have a recipe for this using evap milk. I t tastes a lot like maple sugar fudge and now that maple sugaring time is here I have gotten hungry for some of this canadian fudge.

I went back- Imp loves copy & paste

Ingredients
3 cups brown sugar

1 (5 ounce) can Carnation Evaporated Milk
1/2 lb butter
1 cup icing sugar, sifted
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

Directions
1Combine first 3 ingredients.
2Bring to a boil over medium heat.
3Boil 8 to 9 minutes, stirring constantly.
4Remove from heat, add icing sugar and nuts and stir until well mixed.
5Pour into 9" X 9" pan.
6Cool about 15 minutes in refrigerator and cut into small squares.
7Let cool completly and remove from pan.
