Even if you are able to remove fluids from the crop, the symptoms still need to be addressed/treated. Read this article on how to treat the crop.

DO keep in mind that most crop issues are a symptom of an underlying condition. Worms, Reproductive Disorders, Infection, etc., are commonly seen along with crop symptoms.
Looking at the photos of the hen in the thread you started yesterday, she has a Pendulous Crop as well. There can be more the one "crop symptom" too. If the crop is Sour, Hard and Pendulous, you will want to treat for all 3, but take care to not push the contents back up or she may aspirate.

I do agree, if the hen is not yours, then the owner really needs to be addressing the problem instead of you. All may seem well and good unless something bad happens.
