WELP it is 100% Rory. Let him out of jail this morning, and it took all of 30 seconds for him to earn his way back in.
Now I am torn. I decided to rehome the little babies for separate reasons (mostly the feather plucking of Nardole) and Rory leaves the other pullets alone, as he was raised with them. HOWEVER I am sure that is only temporary, and while I grew up with feral chickens and am used to the ugly that is immature cockerels navigating hormones, I have never in my life seen such focused aggression like this.
What to do? No sign of human aggression, he doesn't fight with the other cockerel. . . Just mindlessly attacks the littlest pullets.
