Our girls and Roo's are out in the run all day long. Your neighbor should put two containers of fresh cold water. We have three spread out in the run out of the sun with nine birds. A pool is a good idea but, keep it out of the sun. Another treat you neighbor could get for the birds is black oil seeds. What is great about this is after eating the seeds ours always drink water. You want the birds to drink on hot days.
