Sudden flying (rouen)

These are the three types of Rouens:
Expedition (I’m most familiar with)

Utility (Don’t even think exist in Australia)

Rouen Clair (Different variation of Expedition)

I think you have the utility Rouen as it seems to be very common in the US. I’ve always been confused because Rouens aren’t the most common here, although I know a person who has some expedition Rouens who shows them.
I thought all rouens we big and fat
However he is only 3/4 months old so we'll see

Thanks

I have Pekins and cayugas and they could all clear a 2 foot fence if they wanted to. But have to really want it. My females will fly over their fence if for some reason they don’t want to lay their eggs in the pen. My male can fly over it without much effort. Even with his wings clipped. If his girls are free ranging and he wants to see them, he will fly right out. So I’d say they are flying out when you come to see them because they are excited. The only thing I can think of to try is clipping wings really short, which doesn’t hurt them, or putting something up to make the fence higher.
